Rina Yamashita & Drew Parker Set to Return to Game Changer Wrestling
Deathmatch fans rejoice as Game Changer Wrestling has announced the returns of two major International Deathmatch stars. It was first announced that “The Deathmatch Amazon” Rina Yamashita will be returning to the United States. Since Rina’s last visit, she has been primarily competing in Tag Team Matches across several companies in Japan. Most notably, Rina teamed with US star Alex Colon; making a run at the King of FREEDOM Tag Team Championships at last month’s Bloody Xmas event. Now, Yamashita returns as GCW Ultraviolent Champion, but having not defended the title since her last time in the United States: October’s Fight Club Weekend. It is up to the imagination as to who will step up for their shot at Rina’s gold.
If that announcement was not enough, accompanying Rina across the Pacific Ocean is “The Deathmatch Prince” Drew Parker. Much like Yamashita, this will be Drew’s first US excursion since Fight Club Weekend in Atlantic City last October. In the same timespan, Drew has had a lot going on as current reigning King of FREEDOM Champion. Parker has had two major defenses; defeating Masashi Takeda in November and Jun Kasai last month at Bloody Xmas. Both Parker and Yamashita have been confirmed for both GCW’s Holy Smokes and Ransom events on March 4th and 5th respectively. Tickets for both events are available now and you can follow GCW on Twitter for updates.
