DMDU Announces 1st Show of 2023
All has been quiet down under. It has been a few months since Deathmatch Downunder has hosted a stand alone; with their last one beingOctober 2022’s Rolling With the Punches. To the company’s credit, DMDU has had quite a lot on their plate with getting their own venue, the 3011 Arena, up and running in Melbourne. Now, the long wait for the next Deathmatch Downunder event is finally over! On Sunday, February 5th, Deathmatch Downunder is set to host their first event of the year: CKWHY2K.
This event will feature the likes of York, Kid Valiant, and a DMDU Heavyweight Title showdown between Chanel Phoenix and current Champion: Gore. On the Deathmatch end of the card, we will see Callen Butcher in a Deathmatch Open Challenge. We will also see a Barbed Wire Deathmatch between “The Smash Hit” Joel Bateman and the current Mat Earth Society Champion: “The Brick Shithouse” Jordan Samson. CKWHY2K will emanate from Kindred Ballroom in Yarraville, Victoria, Australia. Tickets are still available and you can follow DMDU on Twitter for updates on all future events.
