No Canvas No Ropes Barbed Wire Deathmatch: AKIRA vs Drexl (Preview)

When you have two wrestlers who thrive off of violence, sometimes you have to up the ante to bring things to an end. This is exactly what Prestige Wrestling is doing at Reality Unfolds on February 17th. Prestige Wrestling’s native demon Drexl will face off against “The Death Samurai” AKIRA in what has been dubbed The Final Battle. The battle? A No Canvas No Rope Barbed Wire Deathmatch. But just how did these two reach this point?

This all started with AKIRA’s entry into Prestige last May as both he and Drexl shared the ring in a violent Four Way Match during Night 1 of Roseland 3; a match that neither man won. The two would then have their first formal one-on-one contest the next night in a Rose City Deathmatch. With a Double Arm DDT, Drexl would secure the first victory. Five months later, ICW No Holds Barred would host Volume 33 in Los Angeles and the two would meet again. This time, with homefield advantage, AKIRA would deliver the Death Penalty to even up the score: one-to-one. Later that same month, we would see the wrestling debut of Jackass’ Danger Ehren against Drexl at Roseland 4. Danger Ehren would pick up the victory over Drexl with an assist from AKIRA.

Now, we’ve come to the most violent match Prestige Wrestling has hosted yet. Each man has a victory to their name, but there can only be one winner in this violent rubber match. Can AKIRA find his inner Black Swordsman and slay this demon once and for all? Or will the devil have his due once the final bell sounds? Find out live on IWTV as Prestige presents Reality Unfolds. Tickets are still available and you can follow Prestige on Twitter for updates.
