MurderMania Comes to LA
One of my personal favorite staples of WrestleMania Weekend returns yet again! On March 6th, Casanova Valentine announced that MurderMania will take place during the upcoming WrestleMania Weekend in California. MurderMania has always felt like such a special show on this weekend in particular. During Mania Weekend, you’ll find most shows will go out of their way to have all the biggest names and try to act as mini WrestleManias in their own ways. In contrast, MurderMania has always felt more like a house party; not just within the No Ring atmosphere, but also in the unpredictable sense that you could see anyone face off. This year’s MurderMania will take place at Superchhief Gallary in Los Angeles, California on March 31st and promises “Death Match-Art [and]-Party.”
In years past, Casanova Valentine has gone face-to-face the likes of Mad Man Pondo, FMW’s Leatherface and even AEW star/his trainer: Tony Nese. For this year’s event, Casanova has made his target very clear. At Circle 6, after defeating Otis Cogar, Casanova took to the mic to call out Otis’ brother: Atticus Cogar for a No Ring Deathmatch at MurderMania. While Atticus has not responded and no matches have been formally announced, tickets are on sale now and you can follow Casanova Valentine on Twitter for updates.
Vendetta/Margera Round 2 in England?
Over the weekend, ICW No Holds Barred took on Boston, Massachusetts for Pit Fighter X 16 (an event that I plan to go into more detail about very soon). During the event, following Tommy Vendetta’s victory over Clint Margera, Clint expressed his wish to have a rematch with Tommy; only next time, he wants to face off in The Chains. In response, Tommy said that he would come to Clint in the UK to make this rematch happen. This comes in interesting timing as well with ICW set to embark on England again in May for RISE’s Games of Death Weekend. This tour is set for May 27th and 28th, and while the match has not been formally announced for Kingston Upon Hull, you can follow ICW on Twitter for updates.
