GCW’s Tournament of Survival Weekend Announced
On March 19th, Game Changer Wrestling posted an update to their vast schedule of events over the next few months. Among those events listed, we have confirmation that Tournament of Survival VIII and Cage of Survival II are scheduled for June 3rd and 4th respectively. These events will once again be hosted live from The Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. While no other formal announcements have been made for either of these events as of yet, you can follow Game Changer Wrestling on Twitter for updates.
Spotlight: Zandig & Nick Gage vs Mitsuhiro Matsunaga & Jun Kasai
It was August 8th, 2000 when Big Japan Pro-Wrestling hosted an outdoor event in Tokyo Japan. It was in the midst of Combat Zone Wrestling’s working relationship with Big Japan Pro-Wrestling that this classic Deathmatch would come to be. Zandig, in the middle of his first reign with the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship, teamed with fellow CZW roster member Nick Gage to take on “Mr. Danger” Mitsuhiro Matsunaga and a young Jun Kasai. The four would come together to have an unforgettable match; a Two Out of Three Falls Fire Deathmatch. The chaotic violence, blazing inferno and outdoor setting would all come together to create one of the most unforgettable matches in BJW’s history.
