FREEDOMS 5/3: Hirata’s 1st Defense & Ueki Returns

On May 3rd, Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS will make their return to Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan as they present: We Love FREEDOMS! We Are FREEDOMS 2023. As per usual with FREEDOMS’ Korakuen Hall offerings, the Deathmatch portion of the card is already looking stacked! In a Hardcore Tag Team Match, Toru Sugiura will team up with Daisuke Masaoka to take on the team of Rina Yamashita & Mammoth Sasaki. Takayuki Ueki makes his return to a Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS ring for the first time in a year to team with his ERE stablemates: Violento Jack & Toshiyuki Sakuda, against UNCHAIN’s Jun Kasai, Masashi Takeda & Minoru Fujita. And finally, in the Main Event, the current reigning and defending King of FREEDOM World Champion Tomoya Hirata will make his first defense against Takashi Sasaki. Two Names Added to Tournament of Survival VIII

We are just a mere five weeks away from Game Changer Wrestling’s premiere Deathmatch Tournament and one of the biggest overall on the calendar: Tournament of Survival VIII. Thus far, we have current reigning and defending King of FREEDOM World Champion, Tomoya Hirata confirmed for this year’s Tournament of Survival. Joining Tomoya Hirata in Tournament of Survival from Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS is Toru Sugiura and Rina Yamashita. Rina Yamashita comes into her second TOS as the current reigning and defending GCW Ultraviolent Champion. Whether or not she defends her Championship through the tournament is yet to be seen. Toru Sugiura is also entering his second TOS, though possibly in much more interesting circumstances. Sugiura is entering opposite his partner in Soul Meat and former coholder of the King of FREEDOM World Tag Team Championships: Tomoya Hirata. Whether we may see these two partners share the ring during the tournament is also yet to be seen.
