GCW’s 1st Ever Exploding Deathmatch Announced
A few weeks back, Game Changer Wrestling announced that the company would be hosting an Exploding Deathmatch for the first time in the company’s history. A stipulation so big that GCW will be bringing the match, and accompanying show to their Tijuana, Mexico debut. It has now been confirmed just who will be participating in this milestone matchup for GCW. Mexico’s own Los Macizos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo) will team up with Damien 666 to take on The Rejects (Reed Bentley & John Wayne Murdoch) and Joe Lider. GCW’s Lucha de Explosivos will go off with a bang on August 13th live on FITE+ and you can follow GCW on Twitter for updates.
GCW Ultraviolent Championship Match Announced for Homecoming Weekend
Speaking of Game Changer Wrestling, GCW has announced a blockbuster matchup for the GCW Ultraviolent Championship during Homecoming Weekend. The current GCW Ultraviolent Champion: Rina Yamashita will face off against fellow Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS roster member: Takashi Sasaki. This matchup marks many things, firstly marking Sasaki’s first appearance in an American GCW ring in three-and-a-half years. Secondly, this marks third time these two have faced each other one-on-one; Sasaski having a clean 2-0 record over Rina in Singles competition. And finally, barring any announced defenses in-between, this will mark eighty-five days since the GCW Ultraviolent Championship was last defended. Tickets for both days of GCW’s Homecoming Weekend are available now and you can follow GCW on Twitter for updates.
Hiromu Takahashi to Make Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS Debut in Non-Deathmatch Action

Current New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiromu Takahashi will be making his debut for FREEDOMS at Yokohama Rush 2023. The current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion will be teaming up with a former holder of the same belt in Tatsuhito Takaiwa to take on Dragon Libre & Takahiro Katori in Tag Team action. Of course, this show will also see El Desperado & Jun Kasai face Rina Yamashita & Masashi Takeda; as well as Tomoya Hirata defending the King of FREEDOM World Championship against Toru Sugiura.
