This Week in Death: GCW War Games, Toru Sugiura, Unsanctioned Pro, DMDU, Insane 8 & H2O

Death Rules Everything Around Me (D.R.E.A.M.) III Weekend is already shaping up to be a big weekend for Deathmatch Downunder. And just when you thought things couldn’t get any bigger, they have. The night before D.R.E.A.M. III, an International Championship vs Championship Match has been confirmed for Re Arranged; a joint event from DMDU, Dude, Where’s My Ring?, and Australian Outlaw Wrestling. Joel Bateman will put his newly won Unsanctioned Pro Hardcore Championship on the line against Clint Margera and his NORTH Wrestling NCL Ultraviolent Championship in a first time ever International Dream Deathmatch. Tickets for the full D.R.E.A.M. III Weekend are available now, and you can follow Deathmatch Downunder on Twitter for updates.

ICW Milwaukee hosted one of Deathmatch Tournament Season’s staple events with this year’s Insane 8 Tournament. In a very strong field of contenders, it would ultimately be Dr. Redacted who would come out on top in the tournament to claim victory. Dr. Redacted’s path to victory was by no means a walk in the park. Redacted would first defeat Mickey Knuckles, before subsequently defeating two former Insane 8 winners in Neil Diamond Cutter and Orin Veidt to etch his name into the history of the tournament. Insane 8 makes tournament number two that Dr. Redeacted has won this year as he previously won WrestleRave’s Death Triad II back in April. Top Rope Writing would like to congratulate Dr. Redacted on this milestone!

H2O Wrestling has confirmed back to back shows across Halloween Weekend this coming October. While Bound by Blood has been confirmed for October 28th, H2O has also confirmed the fourth installment of the Tremont’s Deathmatch Tournament on October 29th. The previous three tournaments have each had a different theme. The first tournament was a standard tournament (won by Kennedi Copeland), the second being a Tag Team tournament (won by Khristian Ross & Chris Bradley) and the latest edition featuring all Women (won by Sawyer Wreck). While the format and competitors have not yet been confirmed, you can follow H2O on Twitter for updates.
