This Week in Death: ICW/RISE, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling, Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS, GCW & Timebomb Pro


As reported in last week’s edition of This Week in Death, ICW No Holds Barred teased news regarding their postponed return to England. We now have confirmation that ICW No Holds Barred will be making their long awaited return to England on February 16th & 17th of next year. This tour is once again in conjunction with RISE Underground’s Games of Death III Tournament in Kingston Upon Hull. On top of Games of Death, fans can expect a lone ICW event, as well as a joint show between ICW and RISE Underground.

With this international return news, ICW No Holds Barred has kicked off talent announcements in a major way. Joining the Deathmatch festivities in England is the European debut of Japanese Deathmatch Legend: Abdullah Kobayashi. While tickets for all events are available now, any pre-existing ticket holders will have their tickets honored for these new dates. And of course, you can follow ICW on Twitter for updates on this international voyage. 


On September 17th, The BAKA GAIJINS will embark on a tour of Big Japan Pro-Wrestling, starting at Shinkiba 1stRING in Tokyo, Japan. Ahead of this tour, “The Death Fighter” AKIRA was called out by one of the modern greats of Japanese Deathmatch Wrestling: “The Crazy Kid” Masashi Takeda. It has now been confirmed that Takeda will be taking on AKIRA in a Deathmatch at Shinkiba 1stRING. The following night, the two will square off once more as Takeda teams with Masaya Takahashi and AKIRA teams with Remington Rhor in a Tag Team Deathmatch at the world famous Korakuen Hall.
