Casanova Valentine in Japan: BJW Tournament & Last Match of Tour
Casanova Valentine has already had one hell of a month on his first tour of Japan as he’s made his Big Japan debut, brought Barroom Blitz to Japan and even won his first match in the world famous Korakuen Hall. Entering the end of Valentine’s Japan tour, it was finally time for him and tag team partner Abdullah Kobayashi to enter the Soushi Sousatsu Deathmatch Tag Team Tournament. In their First Round matchup, the pair would fall to the team of Hideyoshi Kamitani & Isami Kodaka in a Lighttubes Deathmatch; ending Valentine & Kobayashi’s tournament bid in its infancy in Nagoya. The following day, Cas & Kobayashi would team with Daisuke Sekimoto to unsuccessfully challenge the team of Kazuki Hashimoto, Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani at Shin-Kiba 1st RING in Tokyo.
With that match in the books, Casanova Valentine’s time in Japan would come to an end. Despite the tour being over, there is no rest for Casanova, as he will return to the United States just in time for New Fear City’s Theater of Kruelty on December 1st. At Theater of Kruelty, Casanova Valentine will team up with Dominic Denero to take on the team of Kit Osbourne & Krule. Tickets for this event are still available, and you can follow both Casanova Valentine and New Fear City on Twitter for updates.
Deathmatch Discovery Gauntlet Week 4: Anthraxx vs Kristian Ross
In the past four weeks of Uncharted Territory’s Season 5 run, Anthraxx has been holding court in the Deathmatch Discovery Gauntlet. He has defeated Alex Stretch, Chris Bradley, and Mouse in succession to keep a stranglehold on his spot on the show. This week, its no hyperbole when I say he has a massive challenge in front of him in the form of “The Full Time Boss” Kristian Ross. Ross comes into the Deathmatch Discovery Gauntlet as a former four time H2O Tag Team Champion and Tremont’s Tag Team Deathmatch Tournament winner alongside former Gauntlet entrant Chris Bradley. Will Anthraxx be able to pull the big man up and keep his spot?
The lethal implements on display possessed a blunter characteristic as the ring was adorn with Chairs, Pans and a lone Door sitting in the corner. Soon enough we’d see a Metal Mailbox and an Empty Hard Plastic Water Jug on a Stick come into play. Despite all these blunt-force implements, Anthraxx could not level Ross as the big man continued to stand strong and bring the fight back to him. After being powered down into the match, Anthraxx managed to lift Ross for a Saito Suplex through the Door, following through with some blunt shots to keep Ross down. Ultimately, Alex Stretch would exact revenge with a bundle of Lighttubes over Anthraxx back, followed by a Chokeslam for the win, and Anthraxx’s spot in the Deathmatch Discovery Gauntlet. Post-match, Kristian Ross would call his shot on Remmington Rhor, and next week Ross will get just that.
