Ryuji Ito & Abdullah Kobayashi Come to Atlantic City for GCW in March
On March 9th and 10th, Game Changer Wrestling is set to make their quarterly return to The Showboat Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey for another weekend of exciting action. Joining the GCW roster on the boardwalk are two of the essential cornerstones of Big Japan Pro-Wrestling: Ryuji Ito & Abdullah Kobayashi.
For the uninitiated, Ito & Kobayashi are not just two of the biggest stars to come from Big Japan, they were also essential to Deathmatch Wrestling in Japan through the 2000s. “The Deathmatch Dragon” Ryuji Ito alone is a seven-time BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion, and the winner of 2013’s Ikkitousen Deathmatch Survivor Tournament. Abdullah Kobayashi on the other hand is just as decorated as Ito; having won the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship six-times and winning 2015’s Ikkitousen Tournament. While these two are no strangers to facing each other, they’ve also shared the ring together as partners, having previously won the BJW Tag Team Championships.
Tickets for Game Changer Wrestling’s Atlantic City return are available now, and you can follow GCW on Twitter for updates.
“Killdozer” Matt Tremont Wins the ICW American Deathmatch World Championship at NHB 57
The monsters are taking over the World Championship scene! This past Saturday at ICW No Holds Barred’s NHB 57 event, “Killdozer” Matt Tremont would challenge and defeat the reigning ICW American Deathmatch World Champion: HoodFoot to capture his title. In victory, Matt Tremont ends HoodFoot’s reign of 301 days in his nineteenth defense of the American Deathmatch World Championship. With this reign in the books, HoodFoot has set the record of Longest Reign as Champion and Most Defenses as Champion (beating John Wayne Murdoch’s 287 days and fifteen defenses). With Tremont holding ICW’s top Gold and Krule holding the highest prize in Independent Wrestling: the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship, it looks as though the ICW locker room has been put on notice. Congratulations to the Killdozer on picking up yet another Championship in his illustrious career. And godspeed to anyone that wants to try and take his Championship from him.

This year, much like every year, you never truly know who may show up. While date, location and ticket information are not yet posted, you can follow New Fear City on Twitter for updates.
